Abyssal Escape Stamina: Ability Use and Recovery
Stamina
- Abilities and Killer basic attacks spend stamina in the described system.
- Passive recovery is slower while running than while walking.
- Running speed and the stamina needed for abilities are different concerns.
A running character can still lack an ability option
Abyssal Escape stamina is important because abilities consume it. The gameplay explanation distinguishes that resource from your running speed. You can still be moving while having too little stamina for the next ability you wanted to use.
That distinction changes how you judge a chase. Feeling mobile is not the same as having a defensive, movement or support option ready when the next threat arrives.
Choose recovery moments instead of spending constantly
Passive stamina recovery is described as slower while running than walking. Use a moment of reduced pressure to recover deliberately when you can do so without abandoning your route. This does not mean walking in front of an approaching Killer to satisfy a resource plan.
Healing also requires commitment and stamina. Decide where the recovery belongs in the round rather than beginning it simply because health is missing. An interrupted or badly timed support action can leave you with less room to respond afterward.
Give the two slots a resource plan
Ask which ability you want available after the first one resolves. If both choices demand the same immediate spending, your build may feel stronger in the menu than during the chase. A complementary pair can give you a clearer decision about which move is worth the resource now.
Read the Abyssal Escape Survivor loadout guide to compare those roles. It focuses on the actual decisions behind a pair rather than inventing exact stamina costs, recovery rates or a universal maximum.
