Abyssal Escape Double Stun Penalty: Mixed Ability Builds
Double Stun Penalty
- The described build halves both stun durations when two stun abilities are equipped.
- A knockback or movement restriction should not automatically be classified as a stun.
- Compare the opening you gain with the other role you give up.
Two stun slots have a tradeoff
Abyssal Escape's explained double-stun restriction reduces the duration of both stun moves when you equip two of them. In the described build, both durations are halved. The practical point is that two interruption choices are not automatically twice the control of one.
That gives a mixed build a real purpose: you can pair an interruption with a different kind of help rather than reinforcing only one part of a chase.
Use the actual effect category
An ability that knocks the Killer back, denies sprinting or creates a visual distraction can be useful without applying the same kind of stun. Release descriptions differ from some prelaunch classifications, so do not build a penalty calculation merely from the fact that a move fires a projectile.
Judge the move by the result it currently produces. The goal of the comparison is a useful opening, not a collection of labels that sound equally powerful.
Choose the second slot for a different need
Consider what happens after the interruption. Do you have a route to move along, a way to protect yourself from the next hit or support for a teammate? A second role may improve that follow-through more than another shortened stun.
The Abyssal Escape loadout pairing guide expands that decision. It explains complementary roles without claiming that mixed abilities receive a hidden bonus or that one pair guarantees an escape.
