Abyssal Escape 2017X Beast Form: Slam, Roar and Pounce
2017X Beast Form
- Beast Form replaces the early 2017X kit.
- The basic attack becomes a ground slam that reaches ahead.
- Roar, Savage Jump and Vicious Grab solve different parts of a pursuit.
Learn the new reach before repeating an old pattern
Abyssal Escape 2017X Beast Form, also called Broken Face, changes the character's attacks. The basic move becomes a ground slam that deals damage in front of him. Do not keep judging the interaction only by the opening form's contact pattern.
Recognize the new reach and approach before spending several abilities in a row. A transformed model is the visible sign of a practical kit change.
Choose information, entry or close pressure
Roar reveals and hinders nearby Survivors. Savage Jump provides a charged pounce, while Vicious Grab supplies a grab-and-slam attack. Use the option that answers the current obstacle: locating a nearby target, closing the route or committing once you are close.
Charging a pounce and choosing its destination are parts of the same decision. A powerful landing is useful when it reaches the target you intended, rather than a location the Survivor has already left.
Keep the follow-through deliberate
The form offers aggressive tools, but activation alone does not decide how the chase continues. After a leap or slam, reassess the Survivor's position before choosing the next commitment. Avoid treating a late phase as permission to spend every option without a target.
The Abyssal Escape Survivor loadout guide explains the defensive choices on the other side of this matchup. Knowing what a Survivor is trying to preserve can make the pursuit easier to read without inventing an unbeatable attack sequence.
