Abyssal Escape Furnace Guide: Heat and Pursuit Decisions
Furnace Guide
- Furnace builds and spends Heat.
- Charging creates a stationary commitment that can be interrupted.
- Use the resource to support a pursuit instead of treating a full bar as the goal.
Make Heat serve the chase
Abyssal Escape Furnace is built around Heat. Hitting Survivors and using Charge Heat generate the resource, while parts of his mobility and attack kit use it. Your goal is a useful pursuit, not simply making the bar look full.
If you already have a reachable target, consider what spending Heat will accomplish. If you need to prepare the resource first, recognize the time and position you are giving up to do so.
Charge where the commitment makes sense
Charge Heat keeps Furnace in place, and a stun can interrupt it. That makes charging a positioning choice as well as a resource choice. Standing near a Survivor who can interrupt you is a different situation from using a quieter moment to prepare.
Furnace can also use Heat-supported flight and a forward slash. Scorched Earth applies pressure in front of him, so aim and positioning matter more than merely having an ability available.
Use the later phase without abandoning the plan
Furnace gains later Heat support that changes how comfortably he can maintain pressure while moving. That is an advantage to use deliberately, not a reason to forget which target or route you wanted.
The Abyssal Escape Furnace Heat guide focuses on generating and spending the resource. It separates the charging decision from the broader character choice, without inventing shop prices or exact damage-over-time totals.
